Travelling on foot or by bike

The fact that Louvain-la-Neuve is a pedestrianised city makes things very easy for me. With no cars in the city centre, you can walk around with no problem... and it’s also highly recommended as travelling around on foot or by bike is much faster than by car! It’s not always so easy by bike during the week, however, as the streets are crowded with pedestrians. But at the weekend, it’s a real pleasure to go into the centre by bike… and no need to worry about cars.
