There in emergency situations

The Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve police force's response department has six sections, each boasting five inspectors and a chief inspector, head of the section.

Two teams are constantly on patrol (around the clock) within the municipal territory. They respond in all emergency situations.

The response department inspectors undertake back-up activities for federal law enforcement purposes and other police precincts, especially in the case of maintaining law and order. They carry out specific prevention operations (road inspections, patrols in public areas to deter any urban gangs ...).
