Community policing
17 police inspectors and 4 police officers
The 18 community inspectors and 2 auxiliaries belonging to the Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve police force are responsible for managing their neighbourhood from several perspectives: the environment, road safety, safety during school starting and finishing times ...
Your community ("neighbourhood" ) inspector:
* can be contacted by telephone (see box at the bottom of the page)
* can visit your home
* see you at the Ottignies police station or the Louvain-la-Neuve divisional station:
- from Monday to Friday (according to the working hours)
- at least one weekend per month for each inspector (you are advised to arrange an appointment in advance).
Your community inspector is there to serve you in several circumstances:
* residence request;
* problems with neighbours (disputes, environmental problems ...);
* requests for information (driving, judicial, general police regulations...);
* request for assistance to be sent to another police force;
