• Belgian nationals
• Non-Belgian nationals featured in the population register: (non-Belgian nationals allowed unlimited right of residence) Issuing five-year identity cards that are yellow (non-Belgian nationals from outside the EEC) and blue (non-Belgian nationals from within the EEC).
• Children: "photo-less identity document ": identity card for children under 12 (valid only in Belgium )
• card with photo: children under 12 (mandatory for travelling abroad ).

Issuing extracts from the population information system (for people who are resident in the City):

• Proof of residence - Household composition - Extract from the population register- Cohabitation.
• Life certificate.
• Certificate of nationality for Belgian nationals.
• Certificate of inheritance.
• Signature authentification.
• Certified copy.
• Scholarship application documents.
• Administration of inhabitants' personal information.
• Change of residence administration (entering - leaving – relocations inside the country – deregistration for moving abroad).
