Jurisdiction  :

• Municipal Council: preparation, notices to attend meetings, implementation, minutes, deliberations of the secretariat, keeping the register.
• General litigation: file management.
• Insurance: managing all contracts; claims involving buildings and recycling banks; certain third-party liability claims.
• Fire prevention: administrative procedure for checking all establishments open to the public; rest homes register.
• Managing the mandates of municipal representatives in organisations (non-profit-making body...).
• Managing the Secretariat's files: Municipal Council, Groupings of municipalities, non-profit-making body, church councils.
• Agreements for public demonstrations/events.
• Miscellaneous: legal information for the administration: legal advisory opinions about agreements, drawing up agreements, regulations.
• Church councils: updating lists of members – address books.
• Municipal and advisory committees - Committee: updating lists of members and address books.
• Rest homes register
• Municipal regulations (disputes)
  

Jurisdiction :

• Acquisition: handling files for the City's acquisition of real estate, pursuant to applications from the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and up to the execution of deeds. Handling expropriation files if necessary.

• Transfer: handling files seeking the transfer of municipal real estate: mutual agreement procedure, no public sale, until the execution of deeds.

• Special agreements on the occupation of municipal property + municipal and local paths and tracks in cooperation with the Urban planning department.

• Leases, granting or taking.

• Alignment plan: handling of the related right of way files - expropriation, where applicable, in cooperation with the Urban Planning and Works departments.

• Litigation: mainly handling files submitted to the Council of State: contacts with lawyers and the parties, meetings...

• Various consultations about City-related questions and problems.

• Handling taxi authorisations.

• Register of surveyors and real estate agents.
