Advisory boards
Municipal advisory boards: participate!
The municipal advisory boards allow members of the local community to have their views heard in a number of areas.
The boards seek to promote interaction and consultations between elected representatives, associations and inhabitants that are vital for the democratic process.
Composition
Each advisory board comprises a president and a vice-president appointed by the Municipal Council which they may not belong to, three municipal councillors (not members of the Municipal Board) also appointed by the Municipal Council, delegates of interested associations accredited by the advisory board itself (one delegate per association)... and any inhabitant keen to take part in the meetings.
If you would like to participate in these board meetings and to know the meeting dates and venues, you may register with the Citizenship department - Espace du Coeur de Ville, 2 à 1340 Ottignies.
